Andres Merits：RNA virus replication and its link to innate immunity response

中山大学医学院举办第三期杏林学术论坛

5月2日，中山大学医学院在广州校区北校园外宾接待室举办了第三期“杏林学术论坛”系列学术讲座。本次讲座由医学院院长郭德银教授主持，由爱沙尼亚塔尔图大学技术学院的Andres Merits教授主讲，讲座主题为“RNA virus replication and its link to innate immunity response”。

报告以Andres Merits教授的科研经历为线索，重点介绍了几种不同的RNA病毒的基因组复制机制以及基于病毒的基因表达载体的构建。Merits教授介绍了病毒的结构特征、基因组构成和病毒的生活周期，同时讲述了病毒的致病性和机体对抗病毒的天然免疫反应。 Merits教授还讲述了RNA病毒的反式遗传操作系统。

学院教师、科研人员、研究生和本科生踊跃参加了此次报告会，现场气氛活跃，取得了很好的学术交流效果。举办“杏林学术论坛”系列学术讲座旨在加强院内外学术交流，营造更加浓厚的学术氛围。
